Vaishno Devi MATA VAISHNO DEVI
The Holy Cave Shrine of Vaishno Devi is situated in a beautiful racess of the Trikuta Mountains forming a part of the lower Himalayas as in the state of Jammu & Kashmir at an altitude of over 5000 feet. A pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji is considered to be one of the holiest pilgrimages of our times. Popular the world over known as the Moonh Maangi Muradein Poori Karne Wali Mata, which means, the Mother who fulfills whatever Her children wish for, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji resides in a Holy Cave located in the folds of the three peaked mountain named Trikuta (pronounced as Trikoot).


Amar palace AMAR MAHAL PALACE
Amar Mahal Palace, once the residence of the Maharajas is a grand palace with a magnificent look. Its sloping roofs and tall towers, so characteristic of continental castles, remind one of France. The palace now houses a museum with artifacts relating to the region's art and culture. It also houses the city's finest library of antique books and paintings. An entire series of miniatures on the epic Nal-Damayanti can be seen in the museum. The museum remains open from Tuesday to Sunday and entry is based on tickets. It has a library of around 25000 books on various subjects and disciplines. This is a beautiful spot to be visited round the year in Jammu. Hotel Hari Niwas Palace Hotel :A heritage hotel is also located adjacent to this place.


Patnitop PATNITOP
Patnitop a beautiful hill station in the state of Jammu & Kashmir is no less beautiful. If one is aiming to get away from it all for some time, this place is hard to beat. With all its beauty as a hill station, it is a charming plateau at an altitude of 2, 024 m. The grassland is surrounded by dense forest . Patnitop is a perfect spot for walks and picnics. Sanasar, 19-km away was chosen by J&K Tourism for major development. Situated in a Gulmarg-like meadow it has picnic spots around. The 6-hole golf course is being expanded to 9-holes. Pony rides along little known trails, camping and walks can be indulged in by those with a less adventurous interest.


Raghunath Temple RAGHUNATH TEMPLE
Wish to visit a temple with lakhs of "Saligrams" (the divine stone of Lord Vishnu) Raghunath temple, dedicated to Lord Rama is a divine place in the heart of Jammu with seven shrines. The most important shrine belongs to the eighth incarnation of Vishnu- 'Rama', who is considered the patron deity of the Dogra community. The cluster of temples in the nearby area (all dedicated to the Gods and Goddesses related to the epic Ramayana) makes it the largest temple complex in North India. The temple was completed in 25 long years (1835-1860) by Maharaja Gulab Singh and his son Maharaja Ranbir Singh.



Mansar lake MANSAR LAKE
Popular for the food and crafts festival, the Mansar lake draws thousands of tourists every year around Baisakhi. Apart from the scenic beauty and landscapes, the lake has several religious values too. Situated about 40 km south of Udhampur, the Mansar lake is surrounded by dense forests and hills. The lake is counted among major tourists destinations because of boating facilities and its religious values owing to Sheeshnag shrine. Newly wed couples perform three 'Parikramas' (circumambulations) around the lake to seek the blessings of the lord of serpents. Flickering of seasonal birds, tortoise and fish of different species can be observed.



Bawey Wali Mata BAWEY WALI MATA
In Jammu in the state of Jammu & Kashmir in India. The temple of Maha Kali (better known as Bahu or Bawey Wali Mata), located in the Bahu Fort, is considered second only to Mata Vaishno Devi in terms of mystical power. The temple was built shortly after the coronation of Maharaja Gulab Singh in 1822. The famous temple of Bawey Wali Mata is inside the Bahu Fort where, every Tuesday and Sunday, pilgrims throng to worship the goddess. Positioned along the banks of river Tawi, the impressive construction of Bahu Fort is probably the oldest construction in Jammu.



Shiv Khori SHIVKHORI
This holy cave is nearly a kilometre long and houses a 4 ft high, naturally formed ‘Shivling’. It is considered second only to the shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in religious importance. To the left of Shivling Mata Parwati is symbolized by impression of Her Holy feet. At nearly 2.5 feet above, five headed Ganesha is can be seen. The Holy cave has a number of other natural images which are believed to be that of 33 crores Hindu Deities.The cave roof is etched with snake like formations, the water trickles through these in the cave. ‘Three pronged lance’ depicting the Trident (Trishul) of Lord Shiva and ‘Six Mouthed Sheshnaga’ are also seen on the roof of the cave. The main portion of cave roof has round cutting mark signifying construction of cave by Sudarshan Chakra of Lord Vishnu.


Bagh-e-Bahu BAGH-E-BAHU
Situated 5 kms away from the Jammu city center, Bahu Fort stands on a rock face on the left bank of the river Tawi. Perhaps the oldest fort and edifice in the city, it was constructed originally by Raja Bahulochan over 3,000 years ago. Inside, there is a temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali. An extensive terraced garden, known as Bagh-e-Bahu, has been developed around the fort. Bagh-e-Bahu is an extensive terraced garden built around the Bahu Fort in Jammu. This beautiful garden with its glittering waterfalls, artificial lake, lush green lawns, flower beds, fountains and big trees is a favourite picnic spot of the city .



Surinsar SURINSAR LAKE
With wooded hills all around, thick forests in the backdrop and countless lotus flowers on the surface, the beautiful Surinsar lake is a great picturesque tourist spot situated about 42 km from Jammu. The lake appears like a lotus garden in summers. The lake is a much sought after by nature lovers. According to Hindu mythology, the lake originated when Arjuna, the hero of the epic Mahabharata, shot an arrow to the land.





Sanasar SANASAR
The tourist destination of Sanasar lies at a distance of 119 kilometers from the Jammu city. Kashmir Hub offers you several tours and travel options to the picturesque cup shaped meadow, Sanasar , which is surrounded by coniferous trees.
